The KODAK DIGITAL SCIENCE Scanner 3000 Series is the ideal choice for mid-range, bitonal scanning productivity. This scanner family delivers excep-tional reliability, ease of use, and affordability. The Scanner 3510 and Scanner 3520 offer enhanced feeder and output capacities with speeds of up to 85 pages per minute (ppm) simplex and duplex (uniform letter size or A4 landscape format). The Scanner 3520DP also performs pre-scan document imprinting and advanced image processing (auto deskew and auto crop).

In addition, the Scanner 3520 features Perfect Page Scanning, a combination of exclusive Kodak technologies applied across the entire imaging chain. Feed pages in and get perfect images back at full speed. Perfect Page virtually eliminates the need for rescans and post-scan image manipulation, effectively driving your productivity up and costs down.

The feeder accepts and feeds batches of mixed paper sizes and weights at 75 ppm. It’s easy to add more pages to a stack during scanning for continuous feeding. The transport system gently, yet quickly, moves documents through a short path without sharp bends or constrictions. The result is non-stop scanning that’s practically trouble-free. The Scanner 3510 and Scanner 3520 feature a higher capacity, 250-sheet feeder and 350-sheet output tray, and multi-feed detection to support long-run, unattended operation that’s ideal for forms processing.

Simple operation enables casual operators to be productive with minimal training. Quiet operation fits in a front office environment. Flexible feeding handles batches of mixed sizes and weights from onionskin to card stock to save labor; allows reloading while feeding for continuous scanning. Automatic multi-feed detection detects document overlaps to prevent scanning errors. Simplex and duplex models let you match scanner function to your application without paying for capability you may not need.		Adaptive Threshold Processing maintains image quality and host performance through dynamic thresholding and image compression. Auto deskew and auto crop enhance net system throughput (3520 only). User-replaceable service items reduce service calls and scanner downtime by allowing operators to swap rollers, lamps, and guides without special tools or training. Optional drop out color lamps (red, green, blue) enable scanning for forms processing. Scanner CD support provides multilingual, online training and step-by-step instruction for operators in an interactive text/video format. Document imprinting adds indexing and tracking information to the front side of documents prior to scanning (3520DP only).
