One System Does It All
The M Drive is simple to use. It connects to any Pentium-based PC through a
SCSI interface. Just move the mouse to make a selection, browse, zoom, enhance
or de-skew an image, save to a TIFF or BMP file, print, and more. Plus, it can
streamline your workplace. There's no need for a separate reader/printer. The
M Drive does it all. And it gives you clear, positive, high-resolution images
every time.
Batch Scanning
On the M Drive, microfilm is scanned, not projected, and positive polarity images
are displayed on the monitor. For high volume imaging, PowerScan software
gives you the added capability to scan in batches.
Microfilm is for the Long Term
As you know, microfilm is ideal for long-term records storage. It's legally
admissible, it can last for over 500 years when stored properly, and it's "eye-readable,"
so you'll always be able to get to your critical documents even with major changes
in technology. It's also space-efficient: one roll of film holds as much as
275 megabytes worth of data.
Fujifilm's M Drive Model AB allows users to bring 16mm ANSI-formatted microfilm
directly into virtually any PC.
Thanks to the M Drive, microfilm can match a PC for retrieval speed, archival
flexibility, convenience, and stability. Because now you can put microfilm directly
into your PC.
