24-bit color scanning delivers the flexibility to capture details and gradations on every document.

Compact desktop design features front-facing document feeding and output stacking for convenient desktop applications.

"Count Only" mode for simple document counting and quantity verification without scanning.

High speed scanning processes 8-1/2" x 11" documents at 90 pages per minute (portrait, at 200 dpi with Auto Exposure off) to make short work of high-volume, time-sensitive applications.

64MB RAM standard, upgradable to 128MB RAM.

Multiple scanning resolutions allow users to control scanning speed, image quality and even disk space. Users can choose from 200 x 100 dpi, 200 x 200 dpi, 300 x 150 dpi, 300 x 300 dpi or 400 x 400 dpi for both simplex and duplex documents. Text, Photo and Automatic Exposure mode settings provide added image fidelity.

Versatile document size and thickness allows users to scan documents as small as 1-15/16" x 2-3/4" up to 11-11/16" x 17", and in thickness ranging from 0.06 - 0.20mm.

Function Sheets allows the scanner to automatically set predetermined scanning modes for enhanced productivity.

Optional Imprinter prints specified numerals, characters and symbols on scanned documents.

Optional Endorser allows users to print up to 6-digit character strings on documents as they are scanned for verification.

Optional Bar Code Decoder may be added to the DR-5080C for automatic interpretation of bar code symbols.
